Shop Tab

The Shop tab is your pre-trip shopping list. It collects everything you need to buy before you leave, including items automatically linked from your packing list.

Adding items

Tap the + button to add a new shopping item. Enter the item name and save. Items are sorted alphabetically so the list stays easy to scan as it grows.

Marking items as done

Tap the checkbox next to any item to toggle it between pending and done. Done items remain in the list so you have a record of what has already been purchased — they do not disappear automatically.

Pack integration

When you flag an item in the Pack tab as Needs purchase, a linked item is created here automatically with a purple Pack pill. This means:

• You do not need to add the same item to both lists manually.
• When you tick the shop item as done, a green Purchased badge appears on the corresponding pack item.
• Deleting a shop item created this way does not remove the linked pack item — they are independent records once the shop item is deleted.

TIP

Use the Pack → Shop link for anything you need to buy specifically for the trip. Use the Shop tab directly for general groceries or one-off purchases.

Deleting items

Swipe an item or use the delete button to remove it from the list. Deleting a shop item does not affect any linked pack items.

Pull-to-refresh

Pull down on the list to force a refresh and reload the latest data from the device database.
